I painted these two waterfall scenes (same waterfall) when I went to Univ of Arizona.
Can you see yourself standing with your feet in the water looking over the falls like I
did while painting this one. The Arizona sun is very hot, but with my feet in the water
I was enjoying the moment too much to notice. Just watching the water move about
my ankles and spill over the rocks, splaching little universes of light in their eager flight,
as I splashed color onto the paper from my brush, was a moment of bliss. I felt sus-
pended, even as the drops of water, somewhere in a elemental reality of particles, of
space, of the heart's passion to self express it's Nature.....and to be.. .
